While Caitlin Covington—the influencer behind the "Christian Girl Autumn" meme—initially stated she would betaking a pause from producing autumn-related materialThis year, it doesn't imply she's completely putting away her thick scarf and broad-brimmed felt hat.

"Surprise twist: I would never cancel autumn," shenoted on TikTok August 20, the next day following a heartfelt declaration of her temporary break. "Thank you for all your support, I wasn't truly prepared for that reaction—your generosity genuinely overwhelmed me. Love you all."

Posting a video of herself covered in fake autumn leaves, she commented, "Think of this as the official start of fall."

Certainly, many fans were surprised when Caitlin announced she would not be traveling to Vermont to photograph the upcoming seasonal changes, with some comparing it to "if Santa claimed he wasn't celebrating Christmas."

However, the fashion blogger mentioned that she needed to step back this season because of "pressure."

It's a lot of pressure to ensure every video is better than the previous one—and to make every fall trip more impressive," Caitlin explained in a TikTok post from August 19. "I really need a break this year, I'm truly sorry.

Certainly, producing visually appealing fall content requires significant effort. As Caitlin mentioned earlier, she dedicates several weeks to following weather forecasts to determine when the leaves will reach their most vibrant colors for her yearly photography session.

"The reaction to a photo featuring autumn leaves compared to green trees is absolutely incredible," she said to theNew York Times in 2022. "It's completely different."

In reality, Caitlin mentioned that her clothing items sell "much better" when displayed in autumn settings. As she explained, "I could purchase a $30 top and end up earning $1,000."
