HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Stevie Mosley stepped down from the Harris County Sheriff's Office in April while an internal affairs inquiry was ongoing.
A former Harris County Sheriff's Office Detention Officer has already been charged, and is accused of selling another vehicle that she did not own.

Last week, FOX 26 spoke with the individual claiming he purchased the Lexus from Mosley.
The individual, who requested anonymity, stated that Mosley arrived in complete uniform and claimed to be a law enforcement officer.
Detectives stated that Mosley did not own the vehicle she sold, but instead rented it.
What they're saying"She leased us a vehicle she didn't actually possess," said Lashay Mendoza.
In June, Lashay and her husband, Noe, claim they purchased a 2019 Charger they found on Facebook Marketplace for $7,000.
"We contacted her. She mentioned that $7,000 was sufficient. We arranged a meeting to take it for a test drive. We did that, and we were satisfied with the car. It appeared to be in good condition, so we purchased it," Lashay said.
The owners of Mario Used Cars in Pasadena said to FOX 26, Mosley provided a down payment for the vehicle but did not make any further payments.
The dealership mentions that this type of fraud is becoming increasingly common.
Individuals offering cars on Facebook Marketplace who are not the actual owners should be cautious when the price seems excessively low.
"She was wearing the correctional detention center jacket, which made us believe she was reliable," Lashay said.
Lashay mentioned that losing the $7,000 was a difficult setback.
