Customers at a high-end seafood eatery named Sexy Fish were shocked yesterday after a big sculpture tumbled from the wall and landed on a table.
The artwork, believed to be a Damien Hirst creation showing a swordfish emerging from foaming ocean waves, fell apart during lunch hours at the chain's restaurant in the city center.Manchester.
Video of the aftermath displayed the primary part of the sculpture resting on the table, surrounded by broken pieces and fragments scattered everywhere.
The restaurant was promptly shut down and safety checks were mandated.
No signs of anyone being hurt were reported, although managers did not promptly explain if patrons were seated at the affected table.

Sexy Fish is renowned for its lavish and opulent styleinteriors, and the Manchester branch showcases several artworks by Hirst along with glass columns and a bar constructed from glowing pink onyx and glass.
In a statement, Sexy Fish mentioned: 'Yesterday, an artwork detached from the wall at Sexy Fish Manchester.'

Since this occurred at the beginning of the lunch period, the restaurant was calm.
We have completed a comprehensive safety check by external experts, and the restaurant will resume operations for lunch today.
